These Oven Roasted Green Beans Recipe is seasoned with lemon and garlic and tastes amazing! Green beans are a healthy and delicious side dish at any time of the year. This is a step-by-step guide on how to oven roast green beans.

My entire family loves these oven-roasted green beans. They only take a few minutes to prep and 25 minutes to bake in the oven.
It's the perfect side to roast while you're prepping your main dish. We love making green beans to go along side our Cornflake Chicken, Grilled California Chicken, Sunday Pot Roast-Rump Roast Recipe, and also our Baked BBQ Chicken Recipe.
We use this recipe for Thanksgiving and Easter time too. There aren't any creamy sauces or dressings, just fresh green beans and lots of garlic and lemon flavor!

How to Trim Green Beans
- Wash in a strainer, be sure to wash off any dirt.
- As you wash, cut, or snap the end of the green bean off. Or you can line them up on a cutting board and cut them with a sharp knife.
How to Make Roasted Green Beans
- Wash the green beans in a strainer
- Prep the beans, cut, or snap, the ends off, and also any bruised pieces of the bean.
- Place in a baking dish and drizzle with cooking oil and seasonings.
- Roast the beans until tender-crisp. You can also broil them for a minute before taking them out of the oven.
Fresh green beans take out 20-25 minutes in a 400-degree oven to roast. If you need to bake another dish at 350 degrees, in the oven, that will work for green beans too. You'll just need to bake the beans for an extra 5-10 minutes or until they are tender.
We love to season our green beans with garlic and lemon juice. Simply place the green beans in a 9 by 13" baking dish, drizzle with cooking oil (avocado oil is my favorite) and then toss in a couple of tablespoons of minced garlic.

alt and pepper to taste and then roast in a 400-degree oven for 25 minutes. When you take the green beans out of the oven, squeeze a half fresh lemon on the beans and serve immediately. Enjoy!
