Lemon Garlic Roasted Green Beans Recipe

These oven-roasted green beans are seasoned with lemon and garlic and taste amazing. They're a healthy and delicious side dish to serve at any time of the year.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds green beans
  • 2 tablespoons avocado oil
  • 2 tablespoons garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
  • Rinse the green beans, then trim the ends off and place into a 9" x 13" glass baking dish. Drizzle with the avocado oil, then add the minced garlic, salt, and pepper and mix.
  • Roast in your preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until they are fork tender and starting to turn golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and squeeze fresh lemon juice over the top. Lightly toss just before serving. Enjoy!

Notes

Storing instructions: store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
Reheating: reheat in a microwave or a preheated 350 degree oven.
