This roasted broccoli is hands-down, the best way to prepare cooked broccoli. The broccoli is tossed in a little avocado oil,  seasoned with minced garlic and then freshly squeezed lemon juice when it’s finished roasting in the oven. YUM!

If you’re looking for a great baked broccoli recipe, look no further!  This oven roasted broccoli is easy, it can be thrown together in a few minutes, and delicious!

With steamed broccoli, sometimes it gets a little mushy and it becomes more of a texture issue but with this oven roasted broccoli, it’s full of flavor and has plenty of texture.

There are a few variations of this recipe you may want to try.  If you love a little spice, try sprinkling a few red pepper flakes and some chopped red onion in before you bake the broccoli.

Or after you take it out of the oven, substitute the lemon juice for balsamic vinegar.

You can also substitute the lemon juice for some parmesan cheese.  This is another favorite at my house!

I’d love to know your favorite variation of roasted broccoli!
