Ingredients in Baked Corn Dip:
Onion: Use a yellow or white onion
Butter: Salted butter works great in this recipe.
Jalapeno Pepper: Use a fresh jalapeno pepper and wear gloves to protect your hands.
Garlic: You can use pre-minced garlic from a jar or mince your own.
Sour Cream: full or skim sour cream works great in this recipe.
Cream Cheese: Full fat or part-skim cream cheese works great.
Chili Powder: Whatever you have on hand is great
Monterey Jack Cheese: This is the cheese you'll use in the corn dip and also on top. You could sub this for pepper jack or mozzarella cheese if you're in a pinch.
Corn: Super Sweet Corn is preferred here. The small kernel corn works best. You can get super sweet corn in the freezer section of the supermarket. White or yellow super sweet corn works great.
