    How to Cook Chicken Drumsticks

Chicken Drumsticks are so easy to cook.  It's so easy, especially with this drumsticks marinade.  After you have mixed up the chicken drumsticks marinade, let it marinate in your fridge for a few hours, you're ready to bake or grill your drumsticks.  I personally like to grill drumsticks.  I love the flavor of the grill and also how incredibly easy it is to clean up. Bonus: cooking in the hot summer months, this recipe is a breeze.

    Baking Drumsticks

If you are baking the drumsticks, simply take them out of the marinade recipe and place it down on a greased baking sheet.  Flip the drumsticks over after 20 minutes and continue to cook until the internal temperature of the drumsticks registers at least 165 degrees,

    Grilling Drumsticks

Preheat the grill to a medium to medium-high temp.  If your grill has a thermometer on it, it should register around 375- 400 degrees. Take your chicken out of the garlic and herb marinade and place the drumsticks on the grill.  Cook for 5-7 minutes and then flip the drumsticks.  Since the drumsticks are round, you can cook them on all "4 sides."

Can My Drumsticks Have a Little Pink In Them?

The USDA says that as long as all parts of the chicken have reached a minimum internal temperature of 165°, it is safe to eat. The USDA further explains that even fully cooked poultry can sometimes show a pinkish tinge in the meat and juices.
