- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese grated or shredded
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
In a medium sized saucepan, add the heavy whipping cream, Parmesan cheese, nutmeg, garlic powder, and pepper. Heat on medium high heat while stirring with a wooden spoon or rubber spatula.
Bring to a rapid boil and boil for 1 minute, or until the Parmesan cheese is fully melted. Stir constantly.
Remove from heat, then use immediately on homemade pizza or allow to cool and then store in the fridge for up to 5 days. Enjoy!
Storing leftovers: store leftover white sauce in an airtight container or major jar in the fridge for up to 5 days.
To use: you can spread this onto pizza straight from the fridge. If you need to thin it down a bit, you can try microwaving for about 15 seconds at a time.
