Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter room temperature
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 10 ounces M&Ms candies
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter, sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs, vanilla, and salt and mix together.
  • In a separate large bowl, combine the baking powder, baking soda, and flour and mix until combined. Add the flour mixture to the butter mixture and mix until there are no more streaks of butter.  Add the M&M's last, mixing just until incorporated.
  • Scoop and roll 2" balls of cookie dough and place about 2" apart onto an ungreased baking sheet.  Bake for 9-11 minutes or until golden grown on the edges.
  • Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring the cookies to cooling racks. Enjoy!
