Ingredients

  • 6 large figs cut in half
  • 6 slices prosciutto cut in half lengthwise
  • 4 tablespoons Gorgonzola cheese
  • 4 tablespoons honey

Instructions

  • Prepare the figs by washing, drying, cutting off the stems, and slicing them in half. Slice each piece of prosciutto in half lengthwise.
  • Line up the fig halves on a flat surface or cutting board with the cut side up. Place about 1/2 tablespoon of Gorgonzola cheese onto the top of each fig, then take a slice of prosciutto and carefully wrap in all the way around the fig so that it covers the cheese.
  • Transfer the figs wrapped in prosciutto to a serving platter and finish with a little drizzle of honey over each. Enjoy!

Notes

Storing instructions: store leftover figs in the fridge for up to 2 days.
