These prosciutto-wrapped figs are an easy and elegant appetizer to serve at your next holiday get together or cocktail party. Each fig is topped with a little salty gorgonzola before wrapping up and topping with a drizzle of honey.
Prepare the figs by washing, drying, cutting off the stems, and slicing them in half. Slice each piece of prosciutto in half lengthwise.
Line up the fig halves on a flat surface or cutting board with the cut side up. Place about 1/2 tablespoon of Gorgonzola cheese onto the top of each fig, then take a slice of prosciutto and carefully wrap in all the way around the fig so that it covers the cheese.
Transfer the figs wrapped in prosciutto to a serving platter and finish with a little drizzle of honey over each. Enjoy!
