- 1 medium white onion roughly chopped
- 1 clove garlic roughly chopped
- 2 large tomatoes
- 1 14-ounce can diced tomatoes
- 1 7-ounce can tomato sauce
- 1 4-ounce can green chilies
- 1 small jalapeno seeds removed
- 1/3 bunch cilantro chopped
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 3 tablespoons lime juice
In a food processor, add the onion and garlic. Pulse until minced, then add the tomatoes, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, green chilies, jalapeno, cilantro, sugar, salt, garlic powder, and lime juice. Pulse again until there aren't any big chunks.
