This bacon wrapped asparagus is a quick and easy side dish that is always a hit. Seasoned simply with salt, pepper, garlic, and a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese, this recipe is perfect for party appetizers, holiday dinners, or getting picky eaters to eat their veggies.
Rinse the asparagus and trim the stem end, then place in a 9" x 13" baking dish. Drizzle with olive oil and add the minced garlic, salt, pepper, and Parmesan cheese. Use kitchen tongs to toss the asparagus so that it is evenly covered with seasonings and oil.
Cut the strips of bacon in half, then gather 5-6 asparagus stems together and wrap a piece of bacon around each bundle, towards the center of the spears.
Continue with all the asparagus, arranging them in the baking dish in a single layer making sure they are seam side down.
Cook in your preheated oven until tender and the bacon is fully cooked and slightly crispy, or about 12-15 minutes.
Remove from the oven and serve immediately. Enjoy!
