- 2 bundles asparagus spears washed and trimmed
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 pound bacon slices cut in half
Preheat the air fryer to 390 degrees F.
Place the washed and trimmed asparagus in a large bowl and drizzle with olive oil. Season with salt and pepper, then use kitchen tongs to toss so that the asparagus is evenly coated.
Cut the strips of bacon in half, then gather 5-6 asparagus spears together and wrap a piece of bacon around each bundle, towards the center of the spears. Continue wrapping all of the asparagus into bundles.
Arrange the bacon-wrapped bundles in an air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure they are seam side down and not touching. You may need to do a few batches.
Cook in the air fryer for 10-13 minutes, or until the asparagus is tender and the bacon is fully cooked and slightly crispy.
Remove from the air fryer and repeat as necessary, then serve immediately. Enjoy!
Storing instructions: store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
Reheating: reheat in the air fryer, or in a preheated 350 degree oven until warm.
Make-ahead tips: you can assemble your asparagus bundles up to 1 day in advance and store in the fridge in an airtight container.
