Ingredients
30ozRefried Beanstraditional or jalapeno
8ozCream Cheeseroom temperature
½cupSalsayour favorite kind
½cupSour Cream
3cupsShredded Cheddar cheesereserve 2 cups to top before baking
1TablespoonTaco Seasoning
½cupTomatoesdiced for garnish
2largeGreen Onionssliced for garnish
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the refried beans, cream cheese, salsa, sour cream, 1 cup of shredded cheese and taco seasoning. Mix until well combined.
Spread the bean mixture into the bottom of a 9" x 9" baking dish, then evenly sprinkle 2 cups shredded cheese over the top.
Bake in a preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until cheese is bubbly and lightly golden brown.
Garnish with fresh tomatoes and green onions and serve immediately. Enjoy!
Notes
Slow Cooker Instructions: Prepare exactly the same by mixing the ingredients and sprinkling 2 cups of shredded cheese over the top, then cook on low for about 2 hours, or until warmed through and the cheese has melted.
