Rice Krispie Pops Recipe

These Rice Krispie Pops are a fun and easy way to celebrate holidays and birthdays throughout the year.  Using our recipe for this classic no-bake dessert, we cut them into fun shapes, decorate as desired and place them on a stick for a delicious and mess-free treat.

Ingredients

Rice Krispie Treat Recipe

  • ¼ cup Salted Butter
  • 14 oz Mini Marshmallows or 4 cups
  • ½ teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 6 cups Rice Krispies Cereal

Toppings for Rice Krispie Pops

  • 1 cup Chocolate melted for dipping
  • Sprinkles
  • ½ cup Mini M&Ms

Instructions

  • Coat a large baking dish with butter or cooking spray, then set aside.
  • In a large saucepan, melt butter on medium heat.  Once melted, add the mini marshmallows and stir until the marshmallows are almost completely melted.  Remove from heat, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  • Add the Rice Krispies and mix gently using a wooden spoon or rubber spatula until combined.
  • Transfer the cereal mixture into the prepared baking dish.  Using the back of a spoon, press the mixture evenly into the dish, then either wet or spray your hands with nonstick cooking spray so that the Rice Krispies Treats are about ¾-1" thick.
  • Let cool at room temperature for about 20 minutes, or until they hold their shape. Once cooled, spray a cookie cutter with nonstick cooking spray and cut the Rice Krispies Treats into the desired shapes, stick a cake pop stick or popsicle stick into each Rice Krispies Treat Pop, and set aside.
  • Melt your chocolate in a microwave safe bowl then drizzle or dip the Rice Krispie Pops into the chocolate. Decorate with sprinkles, M&Ms or other candies as desired and let cool completely to allow the chocolate to set up.
  • Serve or store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. Enjoy!
