Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter room temperature
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest
  • 10 drops orange essential oil edible
  • 1 large egg
  • cups all-purpose flour
  • teaspoons baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup dried cranberries
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Grease a baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray and set aside.
  • In the bowl of a stand mixer, add the butter, brown sugar, and sugar and cream for about 3 minutes until light and fluffy. Add the orange zest and essential oil and mix again to combine. Add the egg to the butter and sugars and mix on low speed until combined.
  • In a separate large bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt. Whisk together then add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture and mix on low speed. Add the dried cranberries and white chocolate chips and mix by hand using a wooden spoon or rubber spatula until everything is evenly mixed in.
  • Using a spoon or small ice cream scoop, scoop 1¼" dough balls onto the prepared cookie sheet about 2" apart.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges of the cookies are golden brown.
  • Remove cookies from the oven and let them rest on the baking sheet for 2-5 minutes before transferring to a wire cooling rack to cool. Enjoy!
