Crockpot Hot Chocolate Recipe
This crockpot hot chocolate is creamy, rich and full of chocolate flavor. It’s a simple recipe that the whole family will love, made with whole milk, sweetened condensed milk, cocoa powder, vanilla and just a pinch of salt.

- 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder unsweetened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 8 cups milk
In a slow cooker, add the sweetened condensed milk, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, salt, and half of the milk. Whisk until combined, then add the rest of the milk and whisk again.
Place the lid on the slow cooker and cook on low for about 2 hours, stirring every 20-30 minutes.
Once the mixture reaches 160-185 degrees F, turn off the crockpot or set to warm.
Stir well, then ladle into mugs and serve with whipped cream. Enjoy!
Storing Instructions: store leftover hot chocolate in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
Reheating: Either reheat in the microwave, or return to a small pot and gently reheat over medium heat until warm.
