- 1½ lb Shrimp peeled and deveined - tails on or off
- 12 ounces Andouille Sausage cut into ½" slices
- 2 Tablespoons Cajun Seasoning
- 2 Tablespoons Melted Butter
- ½ teaspoon Salt to taste
- ⅛ teaspoon Pepper to taste
- 1 large Lemon cut into wedges
Preheat the grill to medium high heat, or about 335 degrees.
Place wooden skewers in a shallow baking dish and cover with water. Soak for at least 1 hour so the sticks don't burn while the chicken cooks.
Meanwhile, prepare thawed shrimp by peeling and deveining. Thread the raw shrimp and sausage slices onto the kabob sticks, alternating. Be sure to space evenly so they will cook evenly.
Place kabobs on the preheated grill. Season with cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook for about 2 minutes, then turn over. Brush with the melted butter and cook for another 2 minutes, or until shrimp are opaque and cooked through.
Remove the kabobs from the grill and serve immediately with lemon wedges. Enjoy!
