These cute monster cookie recipe makes really adorable Halloween cookies. The monster cookies are a soft and chewy oatmeal cookie and are loaded with chocolate chips and Halloween m and m's.
Servings: 24 people
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp soda
- ½ tsp baking powder
- 2 cups flour (all purpose)
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 2 cups oats (regular, rolled oats)
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- Halloween Sprinkles
- 1 pkg Halloween M&M's (Ghoul's mix)
- 1 pkg Wilton's Candy Eyeballs
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In an electric mixing bowl, (I used a Kitchen Aid with this cookie recipe.) Add the room temperature butter and sugars, beat until fluffy. add the vanilla and eggs and mix again

Add the baking soda, baking powder, salt, and rolled oats, mix again until everything is combined.
Mix in the flour and then pour in the chocolate chips and mix again
Roll dough into 1 ¼" balls and roll balls in the Halloween sprinkles.
Place balls onto a greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 325 degrees for 10-13 minutes or until golden brown. As soon as you take the cookies out of the oven, press the eyeballs and M and M's into the hot cookies. Let the cookies cool on the pan for a few minutes before removing.
