Jalapeño Popper Dip Recipe

This Jalapeño Popper Dip is warm, creamy, spicy and cheesy with a crispy crunchy cracker topping.  Packed full of cream cheese, bacon bits, jalapeño peppers and cheese, it’s the ultimate appetizer dip to serve at parties, holidays or during the big game.

  • 16 oz Cream Cheese room temperature
  • 1 cup Sour Cream
  • ½ cup Mozzarella Cheese shredded
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese shredded
  • 1 4-oz can Diced Green Chilis drained
  • 1 4-oz can Diced Jalapeños drained
  • ¼ cup Green Onions sliced thinly
  • ½ cup Bacon Bits about 6 slices (reserve 2 Tablespoons for garnish)

Crumble Topping

  • 1 cup Ritz Crackers crushed
  • ½ cup Parmesan Cheese shredded
  • ¼ cup Butter melted


  • 2 Tablespoons Parsley finely chopped
  • ¼ whole Jalapeño Pepper deseeded and sliced thin


  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  • In the bowl of a stand mixer, add the cream cheese and sour cream. Using the paddle attachment, cream together on medium speed until fluffy and well-combined.
  • Add the mozzarella cheese, cheddar cheese, green chilis, jalapeños, green onions, and bacon bits and mix again to combine.
  • Spray an 8"x8" baking dish with non-stick cooking spray, then spread the cream cheese mixture into the baking dish.
  • In a separate bowl, combine the cracker crumbs, Parmesan cheese and butter and mix well. Sprinkle the crumb topping over the cream cheese mixture.
  • Bake in a preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until bubbly on the edges and golden brown on top.
  • Remove from the oven and garnish with chopped parsley, thinly sliced jalapeño peppers and reserved bacon bits. Serve with tortilla chips, pita chips, sliced French bread or veggies. Enjoy!
