Recipe: White Chocolate Peppermint Pretzels

These Peppermint Pretzels are a sweet and salty holiday snack that’s perfect for parties, gift giving, or enjoying at home.  They are dipped in a rich creamy white chocolate coating and sprinkled with crushed candy canes, creating the perfect combination of festive flavors.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Pretzels Pretzels Crisps, rods, twists, or waffle shapes
  • 12 ounces White Chocolate Melting Wafers or white chocolate chips*
  • ½ cup Candy Canes crushed

Instructions

  • Melt the white chocolate wafers* according to the package directions, then set aside.
  • Prepare a baking sheet by lining with parchment paper and set aside.
  • Using a fork, submerge each pretzel into the melted chocolate one at a time. Remove, then tap the fork on the side of the bowl to remove excess chocolate.
  • Place the dipped pretzel onto the prepared baking sheet and sprinkle with crushed candy canes. Repeat with the rest of the pretzels.
  • Allow the pretzels to set up at room temperature until the chocolate hardens, then store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week or the fridge for up to 1 months. Enjoy!

Notes

How to Melt White Chocolate Chips
To melt the white chocolate chips, place in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave for 1 minute and 30 seconds at 50% power. Stir, then microwave for about 30 seconds at full power, stirring and repeating until the chocolate is smooth and melted but not hot.
