Ingredients

  • 8 cups Popcorn popped
  • 3 cups Pretzels
  • 3 cups Bugles
  • 1 cup Dry Roasted Peanuts
  • 1 cup M&M's fall or halloween colors
  • 1 cup Candy Corn

Syrup for Sweet Party Mix

  • 2 cups Sugar
  • ½ cup Corn Syrup
  • ½ cup Water
  • ¼ cup Butter
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon Ground Ginger
  • ½ teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
  • In a large mixing bowl, add the popcorn, Bugles, pretzels, and peanuts. Set aside.
  • To make the syrup, add the sugar, corn syrup, water, butter, , baking soda, ground cinnamon, and ginger into a medium saucepan. Heat over medium, stirring frequently, and bring to a rapid boil. Continue to cook until the syrup reaches 235 degrees F.
  • Remove from heat, pour over the popcorn mixture, and stir gently to coat. Transfer the party mix onto a large baking sheet covered with parchment paper or sprayed with nonstick cooking spray.
  • Bake in a preheated 325 degree oven for 20 minutes, stirring every 7-8 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely at room temperature. Once cooled, break the mix apart into smaller pieces, add back into a large bowl, and mix in the M&M's and candy corn.
  • Serve in a large serving bowl, or individual serving cups. This party mix recipe can be stored in an airtight container in a cool place for 3-5 days. Enjoy!
