Ingredients
1packageSugar Cookie Doughor homemade
½cupHeavy Whipping Cream
8ozCream Cheeseroom temperature
1cup Powdered Sugar
1teaspoonVanilla Extract
Toppings
1pintBlueberries
1quartStrawberries
2largeKiwi
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Make the cookie dough as directed on the packaging (or use your favorite homemade sugar cookie recipe), then roll dough into 2" balls and place on a greased baking sheet.
Bake in a preheated oven for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are slightly golden brown. Remove from the oven and allow the cookies to cool completely on a wire rack.
To make the cream cheese frosting, begin by whipping the heavy cream with an electric or stand mixer until soft peaks form and then set aside.
In the bowl of a stand mixer, beat the room temperature cream cheese until light and fluffy using the paddle attachment. Add the powdered sugar and vanilla and beat on low to combine, then on medium until light and fluffy, or about 2 minutes. Turn off the mixer and gently fold in the whipped cream by hand until smooth.
Add the cream cheese frosting into a piping bag* with a tip and cut off the end. Pipe a thick, even layer of frosting over each cookie in a spiral, or another decorative design.
Decorate each cookie with strawberries, blueberries and kiwi or any other of your favorite fruit, then serve. Enjoy!
Notes
*If you don't have a piping bag, you can use a small spatula or spoon to carefully spread a thick layer over each cookie.
