Chocolate Oreo Parfait Recipe

These Chocolate Oreo Parfaits are super simple, crazy delicious and make an impressive presentation with very little effort.  Take chocolate pudding to the next level with just a few simple ingredients.

Ingredients

Chocolate Ganache

  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips

Whipped Cream

  • 2 cups Heavy Cream
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese room temperature
  • cup Powdered Sugar
  • 2 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

Other Ingredients

  • 2 cups Oreos crushed, reserve ½ cup for topping

Instructions

Chocolate Ganache

  • To make the chocolate ganache, heat 1 cup of heavy cream in a small saucepan over medium-low heat until it comes to a simmer. Place chocolate chips in a large bowl and pour the hot cream over the chocolate. Let it sit for a couple minutes to melt the chocolate, then whisk the chocolate and cream together until smooth.
  • Place a piece of plastic wrap directly over the ganache, then allow it to cool to room temperature before placing in the refrigerator to chill for 30 minutes (or overnight).

Whipped Cream Mixture

  • In a stand mixer or electric mixer with the whisk attachment, whip cream on high until soft peaks form. Reduce the speed to low and add the vanilla extract and powdered sugar slowly while mixing, then transfer to another bowl.
  • Add the room temperature cream cheese to the mixer and whip on high until light and fluffy. Carefully add in one scoop of whipped cream at a time until the cream cheese and whipped cream are combined.

Assembling the Parfaits

  • When you're ready to assemble the parfaits, remove the chocolate ganache from the fridge and whip with a hand mixer, or in a stand mixer with the whisk attachment, until light and fluffy - about 2-3 minutes.
  • Scoop the whipped cream mixture and whipped chocolate ganache into separate piping bags and cut the tips off.
  • In the bottom of a small jar or cup, add a few tablespoons of crushed Oreos. Next, pipe in a layer of whipped cream, then a layer of chocolate ganache. Repeat the layers of Oreos, whipped topping and chocolate ganache one more time so that there are 2 layers of each.
  • Garnish the top with a bit more whipped cream and a sprinkle of crushed Oreos, then serve immediately. Enjoy!
