These garlic and lemon oven roasted green beans are a healthy and delicious side any time of the year.  This is a step-by-step guide on how to roast green beans.

Ingredients
  • 2 pounds Fresh Green Beans
  • 2 Tablespoons Avocado Oil
  • 2 Tablespoons Garlic- minced
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 large Lemon-juiced
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.

  2.  Rinse the green beans.  Cut the ends off the green beans.  (You can cut them into 1" pieces if you want but they're fun to eat as a finger food too.)  

  3. After the beans are washed, put them in a 9" by 13" glass baking dish. Drizzle a couple tablespoons of oil (I like to use Avocado oil the best) on the green beans. Add the minced garlic, salt, and pepper. 

  4. Put the green beans in a 400-degree pre-heated oven for 20-25 minutes or until they are starting to turn golden brown. When the roasted green beans are done, squeeze some fresh lemon juice over them lightly toss with a fork. Enjoy!
