Buffalo Chicken Drumsticks

Grilled or Baked Chicken Drumsticks

  • 6 large chicken drumsticks
  • salt and pepper

Buffalo Sauce

  • 1 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 Cup Franks Red Hot Sauce


  • Combine the Franks Red Hot Sauce and the brown sugar in a saucepan on the stove.  Bring the mixture to a boil and simmer for 1 minute. Let it cool. It can be poured back into the container and used for pizza, eggs, on chicken or steak.
  • Sprinkle salt and pepper on the chicken on both side and cook until internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165 degrees. Use a meat thermometer or cook until the meat starts to pull away from the drumstick bone. 
  • When the chicken is almost done, using a pastry brush, brush the buffalo glaze onto the chicken.  Let the glaze cook on the chicken for the last couple minutes of grilling, turning once, to ensure the chicken has a thick layer of glaze. Take the chicken off the grill or out of the oven and spread the glaze on the chicken once more before serving.  Enjoy!
