Make the cookie dough as directed on the packaging (or use your favorite homemade sugar cookie recipe), then roll dough into 2" balls and place on a greased baking sheet.
Bake in a preheated oven for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are slightly golden brown. Remove from the oven and allow the cookies to cool completely on a wire rack.
Add the powdered sugar and vanilla and beat on low to combine, then on medium until light and fluffy, or about 2 minutes. Turn off the mixer and gently fold in the whipped cream by hand until smooth.
