Chocolate Covered Strawberries

These are perfect for any romantic occasion, valentines day, or just a sweet treat. They’re super simple to make and only take a few minutes.


– Chocolate – Strawberries – Coconut Oil

Wash and rinse the strawberries, lay them on a paper towel to air dry completely, 15 minutes to 60 minutes at room temperature.


Make a double boiler, place a pan on low heat with an inch of water and bring to a boil. Place a bowl (with the lid larger than the lip of the pot) on the simmering water.


Place 2/3 chocolate in the bowl. Stir gently with a spatula for several minutes or until chocolate is melted. Remove the melted chocolate from the heat and add in 1/3 more chocolate and the coconut oil.


Continue to gently stir until all the chocolate is melted. Set a sheet of parchment paper on a large baking sheet.


Dip each strawberry into the chocolate mixture, gently shake the strawberry to remove the excess chocolate. Place the strawberry on the parchment-lined tray.


Recipe Tip

Be sure the strawberries are completely dry before dipping (Or the chocolate will have steaks in it).
