Best German Pancake Recipe

This recipe for puffy oven-baked German Pancakes uses just a few simple ingredients and takes only a handful of minutes to prepare.

Served with fresh fruit, syrup and a dusting of powdered sugar, they will quickly become a family favorite.

INGREDIENTS

– Butter – Eggs  – Milk – Salt – Flour

Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.  Add the butter to a 9" by 13" baking dish and place in the oven while it heats.

Meanwhile, add the eggs, milk, salt, and flour into a blender. Blend for about 15 seconds until all the ingredients are well-combined and frothy.

Carefully remove the dish from the hot oven and swirl to make sure all of the edges are covered in melted butter. Add the batter to the hot pan.

Bake for 12-14 minutes, or until puffed up and golden brown around the edges.

Once cooked through, remove from the oven. Let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving with fresh berries and your favorite syrup. Enjoy!
