Amazing Carrot Cake

This Naked Carrot Cake is made with layers of super moist cake sandwiched with velvety smooth cream cheese frosting.

Easy to customize with walnuts or golden raisins, this simple carrot cake is the absolute best, no-frills version of the classic dessert.


– Cinnamon – Nutmeg – Carrots – Brown Sugar – Vegetable Oil

Spray (3) 9" round nonstick cake pans with nonstick spray, and set aside.


In a medium bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and salt. Whisk together.


In a separate large bowl, mix together the shredded carrots, sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vegetable oil. Whisk until the eggs are broken up and the ingredients are well combined.


Pour the batter into the prepared pans, making sure there is an even amount in each pan.


Bake in a preheated oven for 25–30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
