Reese’s Peanut Butter Fudge

Reese’s Peanut Butter Fudge is my family’s favorite fudge recipe to make throughout the year.  It works for the holidays, wedding showers, gifts, and even just as a simple sweet treat at home.  Best of all, this homemade fudge recipe requires no thermometer, takes only a few minutes to make, and can be made entirely in the microwave!

The flavor of the creamy peanut butter along with the rich chocolate is the perfect flavor combination. And thanks to the sweetened condensed milk, it’s ultra-creamy without being overly rich.

This particular recipe calls for reserving a handful of chopped Peanut Butter Cups to top the fudge with, but you could also top with anything from toasted nuts to Mini Chocolate Chips, or even toffee.  Get creative, and let us know what you liked!

Key Ingredients

  • Sweetened Condensed Milk – be sure you are not using evaporated milk as they are entirely different ingredients and evaporated milk will not work.
  • Chocolate Chips – we suggest using either milk chocolate or semi-sweet chocolate chips for this recipe.  However, we also have provided a few variations that call for using different types of chocolate chips.  Make a few different batches and find out what you like best.
  • Peanut Butter Chips- You can find peanut butter chips in the baking isle by the chocolate chips.
  • Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups– I used some leftover Halloween candy for my fudge but you can use any size or kind of peanut butter cups you love.
